A video image of a pregnant woman projected into a bathtub.
Kjarvalsstaðir - 2008
In her review of the work, Hanna Styrmisdóttir says:
"The woman moves a little. This creates a spell that draws the viewer closer and makes him stop. … The woman's pregnancy is in itself full of mystery and indicates a delay. There lies Helga's greatest magic; the message, which is far more hidden than it seems at first, brings to mind the Sleeping Beauty Syndrome, the woman waiting to be awakened, or as in this case, to wake herself. In this way, the work is constrained by what the future will bring, rather than the need to dwell on the past… "
